Safety is better together.
Beyond your personal circle, Hum plugs you into the wider communities around you. Join trusted groups to discuss community status, follow local alerts & incidents, and receive preparedness tips, all in one filterable feed. Joining a group is as easy as a name search or as fast as scanning a QR code.
Walking home late. A solo run at dawn. A first date in a new part of town. So often, the moments you most want backup are the ones where reaching for help feels impossible. Hum makes it effortless: one button, your whole safety network, instantly.
How it works
Build your circle. Invite the people you trust as connections — send a connection request, add them manually, or scan a QR code in person.
Set your status. A hold signals for help; a quick tap marks you safe. Heading out? Start a check-in timer or Run Mode so your circle knows to watch for you.
Help when you need it. If you trigger an alert or miss a check-in, your connections get your location and a way to reach you instantly.
See what’s happening around you.
Hum’s live map turns local safety into something you can see at a glance — nearby panic alerts and community reports appear in real time, so you know about hazards, incidents, and all-clears as they happen. Get too close to an active alert and Hum flags it with an on-screen risk warning, so you can steer clear before you’re in it. Drop your own geo-tagged report — a road closure, suspicious activity, or an all-clear — right on the map.
For every solo mile.
Start Run Mode before a run, ride, or late walk. Hum locks into a focused screen with a countdown, a panic button, and live location sharing. Your circle sees you’re out and gets an alert if the timer runs out or you signal for help. Tap “I’m Back Safe” and everyone stands down.
